So, what do you think? It's not for me.. it's for JoJo and Mei Mei. Hmmm? Where are the pennies?...Errr...Oops... actually... they are "in" the cuff! Yes, "in" the "cuff"!
Well, it all begin with ...
A zip, a piece of ribbon (about the same width as the zip)...
Cut the zip and the ribbon according to the measurement of your "customer" wrist.
Stitch the zip and ribbon together by running a line of stitch (by sewing machine is lot faster - but I hand sewn because I don't have one - Sorry for my poor workmanship!)
And add in this old fashion 'buttons' at the ends. You may use a 'zap on' method or whatever you have on hand.
Like this...
This is how it looks when you buttoned up! A "Zip Cuff" (Hmmm... maybe not a good name!!!).
Now... here where the pennies goes...JoJo and Mei Mei always fancy to bring some 'money' when they outings, so they can buy some little things like sweets and drinks. I don't encourage them to bring along a purse because they always 'lost' them. They placed the purse in the car, on the tables..and 'lost' them... So, hopefully, this 'pennies cuff' will be a better alternative and definitely they would lost them easily.
It's look a bit bored to my 'customers'. So, I spice up a bit with some beads...
Other than keeping pennies, may be we can share some 'secret messages' too!
My happy customer modeling the cuff!
Have a nice day

This is so great! I love your black thread hand stitching, I think it adds to the design. And I LOVE the idea for this bracelet! I have so many zippers for crafting, and I'm a little tired of seeing all the zipper flowers online. This is so different and cool! The loops of beads are extra cute on your little model.
