Trash to sewing tool - Plastics bottle sewing hoop

I don't prefer using plastic bottle...
but sometimes my hubby would bring a few from office.

Today, I found a new way to 'reuse' the bottle

I cut it cross way into circles

And when I combine two circles together....

Voila!!!  I have a small little sewing hoop!

Thanks for drop by

DY hand corsage for sister wedding day!

Received a request from my sister
to prepare some wrist corsage for her bridesmaids
on her wedding day!

So glad to have a good reason to craft again!
Congrats to my sister wedding
and Hooray for me!

I spend days browsing Pinterest for ideas...
but my sister prefer some simple and retro one...

I absolutely have no idea.

These are some of my "works" today...

What do you think?

Template for making ribbon flower...

Just bought a templates set for easy ribbon flower making.

Check it out...

Use the smallest one for making the top layer.  The 'star' shape is for the second layer.
And the biggest one is for the bottom layer.

Making ribbon flower is really easy and fast now!

Here is a diagram of the template...

Ribbon flower tutorial #2

I just found out that my previous post of
10 types of ribbon flowers from garibbon was not achievable.

Sorry.  I will try to re-post it again.

In the meantime...

Sharing this awesome tutorial.

Too pretty, right?

6 refashion ideas to make your old jeans... more fun to wear!

Hi, again!

Sorry for such a long silence....
Everything is super duper fine here...
I just got 'caught' up with some new 'routines'

As part of my this year new year resolution...
I'm now 'taking out' some of my blogging times...for my 'physical' and 'spiritual' wellness!!!
So far...It has been 2 months ... successfully control my diet,

Have 'proper' breakfast' before 9am in the morning
(previously, I prepared everything, and just took the 'left over' from the kids!!!, Yup!)

Have a 40 minutes session with Tracy Anderson
I love her exercise especially her - arm routines.

Try to have a short 30 minutes nap in the afternoon

At least a nice and quiet bubble every 2-3 days....
( to wash away all my stress!!!)

Take a short walk with my hubby after dinner...
(and let the kids clean the dishes for me!!!)

go to bed before 11pm every night

(I know... but I can't help to check my FB and blog before sleep!!)

So, how about you all who are sitting in front of the screen?
Did you do anything for 'YOURSELF' today?
Well, you should and you deserve it, dear!

Ok!  Since, I'm already here...
I want to share with you my recent 'project's

Recently, I'm a bit 'crazy' about jeans....
but, instead of buying a new pair....I decided to do some 'update' with my old ones...

Here are some ideas I have in mind...

#1 ) Dangle Fringe

It's always fun to wear something that dangle...don't you agree?

#2)  Lace and pearls

Mini DIY on a rainy days...leftover scraps projects...

The terrible haze had finally cleared up after
days of heavy rain here.

So, what's your favorite things to do
during rainy days...

Mine will be a cup of hot coco...
my favorite couch by the window...
and read a few lines of my favorite book...
before I snooze off...

But, I'm not doing that today!
Today, I suddenly decided to make something useful
from the leftover (sleeves from old T-shirt, cut out from previous projects).

I made this cute little ribbon book mark strap
One end is the shape of a white cloud and the other end is a cute little raindrop!
(Like my cactus pincushion...the tutorial is here)

The 'Walnut' Rose Tutorial

Hi, recently I was so obsessed with roses made from
ribbon or satin fabric...

I interest in making them is at the peak point when I saw this hair pin
and I am so so so WANT IT!

I search high and low for the tutorial and finally
a blog friend from Korean give me some great tips in
how to make them.

My Korean friend call this flower "Walnut rose"

This is my first attempt using some leaf over satin fabric
It's about 1 inch in height and width
