After seeing me with the threads and needles for weeks, the two little ones started to get interested to do some sewing. So, last weekend when I was at Mr. DIY (local DIY shop), I bought 2 sets of these...
"Felt Friend" DIY sewing kits for little kids. It cost me RM2.90 each, I think it's cheap if I have bough all the stuff separately from craft store...
Yup...they are going to make some felt hand puppets
The kit come with some yarn and a cute big needle for little fingers
First lesson...how to thread a needle...this is too easy for them
the hole of the needle to SO big!
Now, stitch along the side of the felt...combine the front and back of the puppet
They spend hours doing this...
Now... time for me to take a nap
Hmm....skip stitch!
Proud seamstress...with her bear (I think it's a monkey...but don't tell her)
