DIY Zero Cost Candlesticks

Have you seen the latest projects from Love Sweet Love?  Oooooh...they are sooo loveeeee!
There are 2 projects that I have added into my "must do list", the Kitchen Jars and Bean Balls!  They are so sweet and cute...and matched with my kitchen!

Well, I can't start the kitchen jars project because I don't have candlesticks...I can't start the Bean Ball project without a Styrofoam balls.... ... still thinking...  This is not working...better go looking then sit there thinking for a genie to drop me the candlesticks and the Styrofoam balls.

I came back with these...some PVC drinking bottles, some culture milks bottles, yogurts caps, more others caps and bottles...(yes, I keep all this junk!)

Using a little white paint..

Cut out the 1 liter size drinking bottle and place them on the pan..Yes, on the pan...preheat the pan first..slightly touch (it's only take a second or two) the edge of the cut bottle on the pan .. the sharp edge will curled up and smoothen just like moulded!  Clean, clear and save edges!

Will a little "stacking' and glue gun... ta daaa!

Sorry! Not yet done with the bean balls.
Substitute the bean balls with my old christmas decor ball... haha!

Thanks for drop by
and hope you enjoy
my version of candlestick
(psst... nobody will notice..
because I placed them high on top
of my kitchen cabinet!)

See you,

Love

  1. Great idea. I am always looking for ways to turn cheapo stuff into what looks expensive. Nice work. Just wondering, would you use that skillet for cooking or just reserve it for crafts?

  3. @Pink Overalls @DIY Home StagingThanks for drop by, don't worry about the skillet, I used it just to warm the PVC ...not burn them... the short process does not leave any trace of mark on my non stick pan, Haha! It's as good as new!

  9. I totally thought the candlestick were pieces of wood. Love this idea for re-using! I think we all have some random containers we could do this with. Thanks for linking up with DIY under $5!
