Old T for New Top! ...and NO SEW!!!

The cruel weather is just too hot to beat...

I simply can't find anything 'cool' to wear from my wardrobe.

All those T-shirts make my body temperature raised just by looking at them!

I don't think I'm going to wear anything with sleeves and small neckline

for the rest of my life...unless I move out from this tropical region!

Come and join my desperate attempt to 'cool' myself to beat the heat!

This is what I did today!

Material

1.  Old T-shirt

2.  Scissor

3.  20 minutes ( it could be less if you are good with scissor!)

Step #1

Get an old T-shirt
(mine is L size ...hip length)

Step #2

Trim away the seam at the neck line.
and the sleeves

(Trimming the neckline not only make it most comfortable to
wear, it also make it look newer.)

(I didn't have any plan at the beginning..
so, I just remove whatever part I'm not comfortable with! :p)

Step#3

Draw a semi circle shape at the bottom
( I use this shape because it able to cover my broad hip line!)
and cut the bottom part into thin strips!

Step #4

Pull the strips to form a 'shaggy' look.

Step # 5

All done!

I tied a knot in front...to cover my 'belly button'!
See...the curve shape at the side...cover my big hip well :) !!!

There still lots of old Ts in my wardrobe...

come back soon...

another old Ts revamp is on the way!

  1. PC, this is so chic! I love the curve idea - makes it so much more than a fringed t-shirt. Fashion forward! You make a fabulous model, too - can't wait to see more T ideas!
