Oh! I got an invitation for a dinner...
is good news... except...
is good news... except...
IT'S TONIGHT!!!
I'm not prepared!
or...shall I say...
my 'wardrobe' is not prepared!
I have a few 'little back dress' and 'little black top"
Guess.... nobody will notice that I'm wearing them AGAIN?
And... about accessories....
I don't usually 'hunt' for them during shopping cause' my main target
during shopping are the groceries department and the 'special offer' corner...
The last time I bought a pair of earrings is the time when "Jurassic Park 1" on the cinema!
And now those earrings are as old as those dinos in the movie!
So...
Today...I'm going to share with you my desperate last minute refashion
my old earrings using some 'trash' after enjoying the chocolate!!!
I start with these...
I use the foil from the chocolate wrap
(clean it well...You don't want the ants to crawl up to your neck
during the dinner!)
I love this old pair of earrings...
but I lost some part of the 'diamond's
So, tonight...I'm going to wear them again
with a quick 'refashion'.
What I did is just cut the foil wrap into strips and wrapped
it around the earrings...
(You may secure the wrap with some glue)
And this is what I have...
it around the earrings...
(You may secure the wrap with some glue)
And this is what I have...
As there is a saying from Forrest Gump Movie...
"Life is like a box of chocolates ...
You never know what you're gonna get"
Now...What should I wear...
Another 'mission' on the way...
Gotta go, catch up with you all later!
Thanks for drop by!
Love always

What a cool texture! I love the color and the fact that you used trash from a chocolate bar. Thats what I call yummmmy up-cycling, my dear.

I love this. I can't believe you did it with a candy bar wrapper. I have a link party on Wednesdays, and I would love it if you would link this and any other posts. It is called Wednesdays Adorned From Above Link Party. It runs from Wednesday to Sundays.

So Cool! No one would ever suspect these were made with the foil from a chocolate bar. Very modern looking, too.
ReplyDeleteWow, those are very rich looking! Great way to renew the broken earrings - it's always sad when you lose rhinestones, because they are nearly impossible to repair. Love this idea! Also a great excuse to eat more chocolate.
ReplyDeleteLOL. I totally thought you were just throwing in the towel and eating chocolate instead. Very cute! And can't even tell. Reduce, reuse, recycle. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI would never even know that that was a wrapper! How clever! Thanks for sharing!

A chocolate wrapper?! This is literally refashioning with trash! Lol! I vow at your resourcefulness and creativity! You ate a chocolate and its junk gave you a new pair earrings. How cool is that? Could you inspire or give us more idea on what more junks are possible for refashioning? Like a bag of Doritos maybe? =) – Paige @ Compelling-Creations.com
